Corporation for National Services - Appendix A: Prevention

Goal	To offer HIV/AIDS education programs and other services with volunteers from the Learn and Serve America project.
Objective	To promote HIV awareness through support HIV-related Learn and Serve America projects.
Action Steps	Continue programs for youth in elementary school or high school to volunteer in community service activities, such as peer education in HIV/AIDS prevention. Continue to award grants to colleges and universities which provide service opportunities on HIV/AIDS prevention.
*Descriptions*	Examples of higher education programs include Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the University of San Diego where students provide HIV/AIDS education to homeless and other high risk populations.
