Goal To offer HIV/AIDS education programs and other services with volunteers from the Learn and Serve America project.
Objective

To promote HIV awareness through support HIV-related Learn and Serve America projects.

Action Steps
  1. Continue programs for youth in elementary school or high school to volunteer in community service activities, such as peer education in HIV/AIDS prevention.
  2. Continue to award grants to colleges and universities which provide service opportunities on HIV/AIDS prevention.
Descriptions

Examples of higher education programs include Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the University of San Diego where students provide HIV/AIDS education to homeless and other high risk populations.
