Hi Chi Minh City boasts a dynamic community of young Vietnamese in their 20s and 30s working in business, government, academia, the media and the arts. President Clinton will meet with a small representative group of Vietnamese young people.

Vietnam International Container Terminal

The Vietnam International Container Terminal, located on the Saigon River, is a joint venture between a Vietnamese state-owned company and a multinational company (including American, Singaporean and Japanese ownership.) Completed in late 1998 at a cost of $53 million, this is Vietnam's newest container terminal and the only one with completely computerized operations.

The President will depart Ho Chi Minh City en route Washington on the afternoon of Sunday, November 19.
