THE WEST WING

The menorah in the West Wing Lobby of the White House wasdesigned and created by Mayrim Baram, a father who lost his young son during the 1973 Arab-Israeli War. Mr. Baram has been creating menorahs in copper, bronze and whitemetal inmemory of his son. In his menorah, Mr. Baram captures the horrors of war and expresses hishope for peace.
