The President will arrive in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, on Saturday, August 26. On Saturday, he will participate in an arrival ceremony at Nnamdi Aazikiwe International Airport, he will meet with Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo and address a Joint Assembly at the House of Representatives. He will also meet with Nigeria's 36 governors. In the evening, he will be honored at a State Dinner hosted by President Obasanjo.
On Sunday, August 27, President Clinton will visit Ushafa Village, about twenty-five minutes from Abuja. He will tour the village and meet with villagers. Back in Abuja, the President will tour Abuja's National Center for Women Development and make remarks focusing on health and infectious disease. He will then address Nigerian and American members of the business community.
