The First Lady's Trip to the Southwest


 
On May 19th, Mrs. Clinton visited Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona where Pluto was discovered in 1894. Today the Observatory houses historically and scientifically significant equipment, documents and photographs and operates educational programs for thousands of visitors each year.
