BILL PURPOSE: Directs the Department of Interior
to convey title to the Middle Loup
Division of the Missouri River Basin Project, Nebraska, to three local reclamation and
irrigation districts.
OMB ESTIMATE: P.L. 106-366 requires
the water districts and the Western Area Power
Administration (WAPA) to settle outstanding repayment obligations related to the
facilities as a condition of the conveyance, which is expected to occur in 2001.
