ABSTRACT: The Legislative Information System
is used by the OMB Legislative Reference Division to administer the interagency
legislative coordination and clearance process, as specified in OMB Circular
No. A-19. The system is used to create Legislative Referral Memoranda (LRMs)
and to monitor Congressional activity related to Administration-sponsored
legislation and other legislation being considered by the Congress.
PURPOSE: The Legislative Information System
was created to assist in administering the interagency legislative coordination
and clearance process.
