"Vision of America at the End of the 20th Century: Our concept is
'Expanding Horizons.' We envisioned a world shaped like an hour glass to
represent shrinking distances. Then icons representing different forms of
communication from the past century (pony express, telegraph, phone, etc....ending with computers) circling the hour glass world. This picture represents the extraordinary advances in communication that have literally and figuratively expanding our horizons resulting in an explosion of knowledge, more opportunities for travel, and demanding greater understanding of diversity."
